HOW IT HAPPENED
The Jackets got on the board first in the 21st minute as a cross to the left side of the box provided Waynesburg's lone goal of the night.
Eight minutes later, the ball was bounced around in the box before sophomore Iwan Mooney (Cardiff, Wales/Plasmwr) cleaned it up to give Bethany the equalizer.
Action remained relatively quiet through much of the second half, but with less than five minutes to go, Mooney tallied his second assist on the season as his cross provided Lujan with the header to seal Bethany's second PAC win.
The Bison outshot the Jackets, 12-4, with four of them making it on frame.
In between the posts, sophomore Torben Grether (Rheinfelden, Germany/Georg-Buchner) saw 90 minutes of actions, allowing just one goal past him as he moves to 5-6-2 on the season.
The Bison return to Bethany where they will host Grove City College, Saturday, Oct. 13. Action is set for 3:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the women's game.
